We are now proud to say we are making all our own ferments in-house at the Pinnacle farm! In this lineup up, we have our peach 🍑, apple🍎, cucumber🥒, and pear 🍐ferments as finished products in the first slide and as they ferment in the second slide. 😀
Ferments are super beneficial, especially with living soil, and help boost growth at different stages depending on what ferment is used. And so far, we have been noticing great results!

Strain spotlight, coming to the shelves soon!
More heat out of the @dirtybirdgenetics garden 💯🔥
This Oil Storm is nothing to miss being a cross of Slurricane #7 x Grease Monkey creating this amazing Indica dominant Hybrid. The terpene profile is sweet, peppery, and hashy with some phenos exhibiting a floral, apple, fresh garden smell. Caryophyllene and humulene are dominant terpenes. Linalool and Bisabolol are common as well.
This is a great strain for relaxing in the evening. Leaning heavily to the indica side, Oil Storm is a powerful mix of two impressive strains. Smoke a joint, eat a bag of Funyuns, and strap in for a Planet Earth marathon, because you’re about to get glued to the couch.
Cannabinoids of note: Tested samples have high secondary cannabinoids, both CBG and delta-9 THC.
Notes from the breeders, "The Oil Storm is a cross of two legends: In House’s supremely sugary and boutique Slurricane #7 crossed with the neon-green-grease-machine, Grease Monkey by Exotic Genetix. How could you go wrong there? We found that you really can’t. These plants have striking, thick pistils, great air flow, short height, medium-sized leaves, super sugar, great bud formation, and greasy, green buds that are easy to trim. Most phenotypes lean more toward the Grease Monkey in appearance, but we did have one keeper that was very Slurricane-dominant with dark purpling, and tight, trichome-laden Slurri buds. The cannabinoid profiles were striking with CBG and delta-9 THC making impressionable appearances alongside the always-present high-THC."

We have some new fruiting bodies of fungi species popping up at the farm!
The first slide pictured is Agrocybe praecox, commonly known as the spring fieldcap, spring agrocybe or early agrocybe, which is a species of brown-spored mushroom that appears early in the year in woods, gardens, fields and wood chips. According to modern taxonomic analysis, it is just one of a cluster of closely similar species that are often referred to as the Agrocybe praecox complex. It is found in Europe, North Africa, and North America.
The species is not flavorful but is sometimes considered edible. It may be bitter, and one French source says that because of this characteristic and its soft consistency, it is best left aside. Another site says that it is edible but needs to be well cooked.
The second and third slides show Leucocoprinus birnbaumii, commonly known as the flower pot parasol, yellow parasol, flowerpot parasol, or plantpot dapperling, is a species of gilled mushroom in the family Agaricaceae. L. birnbaumii is a saprotroph, living on very decayed plant matter (humus or compost). Also is a toxic mushroom. If eaten, it can cause stomach upset as its toxic mechanism is a gastrointestinal irritant. North Carolina State University classifies the species as having medium severity poison characteristics whilst the University of Massachusetts Amherst says that the level of toxicity is simply unknown at present. These mushrooms should not be eaten. What we noticed cool about this specific mushroom is the different colors it grows in depending on the microbiological environment. The yellow color of the mushrooms is from alkaloids known as birnbaumins. Birnbaumin B is the major compound and has a formula C16H20N6O5, whilst birnbaumin A has one less oxygen molecule. Extraction methods used to isolate these compounds also yield L-tryptophan, a common amino acid that helps build proteins!
